Your photos are family. We treat them that way.

What we collect

What we never do

How we count visits, and the one exception

To learn which pages help people, we keep a simple, private tally of page views on our own systems. It uses no cookies, records no names, and never leaves us. The one exception is Google: the order page and the order status page each carry one Google tag, used only to tell whether an ad brought you to us and whether an order went through. Google's tag may set its own cookie to do that. We never pass your order link or your photo to Google, and these are the only advertising tags anywhere on the site. The order status page also loads the secure payment windows from Helcim and PayPal so you can pay, and they may set their own cookies to do that.

Hidden data inside phone photos

Photos taken with a phone can quietly carry the location where they were taken. We strip that location data from every file we deliver.

How long we keep things

Your original uploads and finished files are deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery. Want them gone sooner? Email us and it happens.

Who touches your data

A few trusted services each hold only the piece they need:

Your rights

Email hello@theportraitkeeper.com and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, including rights under California law (CCPA) and Canadian law (PIPEDA).
