Privacy
Your photos are family. We treat them that way.
Updated August 30, 2026.
What we collect
- Your email address. So we can send you the honest read, the proof, and the finished photo. Nothing else is required. No account, no password, no phone number, no street address.
- The photos you send. Used for one purpose: restoring them for you.
- Basic order records. What you ordered, what you paid, and standard connection information that helps us block fraud.
What we never do
- We never sell your information. To anyone, for anything.
- We never show your photos publicly or use them in our examples or ads without your written yes. The photos on our site are archive photographs, not customer photos.
- We never use your photos to train software.
- We do not run advertising trackers on our site.
Hidden data inside phone photos
Photos taken with a phone can quietly carry the location where they were taken. We strip that location data from every file we deliver.
How long we keep things
Your original uploads and finished files are deleted from our systems 30 days after delivery. Want them gone sooner? Email us and it happens.
Who touches your data
A few trusted services each hold only the piece they need:
- Helcim processes your card. We never see or store your card number.
- Cloudflare stores the photo files, privately.
- Supabase stores the order records.
- Resend delivers our emails to you.
Your rights
Email hello@theportraitkeeper.com and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever you live, including rights under California law (CCPA) and Canadian law (PIPEDA).
