The refund promise
Love it or every dollar back.
Plain words, and we mean every one. Updated August 30, 2026.
If you do not love your restored photo, you get every dollar back. No forms, no arguing, no restocking nonsense. Reply to any email from us, or write hello@theportraitkeeper.com, and say so.
How a refund works
- The money goes back to the card you paid with. The whole amount, not a piece of it.
- Banks take 5 to 10 business days to show it. That delay is the bank, not us.
- You can ask before delivery, after delivery, or after free changes. The promise does not expire while we are still working together on your photo.
Things we do before you ever need this page
- The look is free. You pay nothing until a real person has looked at your photo and told you honestly what can come back.
- Free changes until it is right. If something feels off, tell us. We fix it at no charge, as many rounds as it takes.
- The honest no. If we take your order and then find we cannot restore the photo truthfully, we refund you in full ourselves. You will not have to ask.
- The rush promise. If you paid for 24-hour rush and we miss the date we promised, the rush fee comes back automatically.
Rules that protect you from scammers
- Refunds go only to the original card. Never to a gift card, a wire, a payment app, or a different card. Anyone who suggests otherwise is not us.
- We will never call you to ask for more money after checkout. If someone does, hang up and email us.
- Your restored photos are only ever sent to the email address used at checkout.
